Later, Hunter wakes up to finds Gus passed out in a closed off part of the detention pit, he wakes him up, but Gus still feels unnerved and tries to keep his distance from Hunter, which causes Hunter to worry about how tense his friends have become and that he doesn’t know what to say to them.

Hunter finds himself wrapped in a vines and goes to look for Willow and Gus only to find Willow losing complete control of her powers and is forced to watch helplessly as she entangles Gus and himself while trying to free them only to make things worse. Her vines cause the pit to crumble and Hunter uses his dash ability to rescue her and Gus, to which they realize that Flapjack has given Hunter his power, as Hunter saves them from Luz’s staff, to which he shows fear to along with the others. Initially, Hunter was unaware of Caleb's existence, and of his grimwalker nature, due to Belos hiding the truth from him. In "Hollow Mind" however, after finding out about his true nature during his and Luz's time in Belos' mind, Hunter gradually began learning about Caleb's existence, but was initially unaware of his name or true character, knowing only by the Day of Unity that he was a witch hunter with Belos before being killed by him. Because of this, Hunter initially held a fearful opinion of Caleb, assuming him to have shared Belos' hatred of witch and demonkind.

This is probably as good a time as any to point out that Orson Welles scrounged for budgets all his life, yet studios routinely throw $110 million at crap like "Speed 2."

And I was grateful to Jan De Bont, director of this film and the first one, for not overlooking such touches as The Dog Who Survives. The captain is thrown overboard early in the film, after Geiger explains his grievance. (Seems like a waste, somehow, to go to the trouble of lodging your complaint with someone you immediately kill.) Then it's up to the hero and his girlfriend to save the day. A disgruntled former employee hijacks the Seabourn Legend cruise liner. Insurmountable and daunting tasks awaits them on their perilous journey throughout the ship trying to fend off the hijacker and save the passengers.

A luxury liner is hijacked by a vengeful sociopath bent on making an on-board jewel heist and crashing the ship into an island at maximum velocity. It’s up to the chivalrous Patric and plucky Bullock, along with the ship’s crew, to work together to regain control of the vessel and minimize casualties. I will leave you in suspense as to whether they succeed. I will observe, however, that it's not every day (unless you live in New Orleans) that you get to see a ship crashing into a pier. The special effects sequences in the movie are first-rate, especially that one. I know some of the houses on shore were models and that all kinds of fancy techniques were used, but the progress of the ship, as it crushes piers and condos, restaurants and trucks and cars, looks surprisingly real.
